About Pixeldust Films
Pixeldust Films was founded at the beginning of 2005 by Gino Guarnere. The company built itself by providing free samples of our video work to local area businesses. We also produced a few Video Biographies for our family members to show just how great our work was, and then brought it to the consumer market. The company has grown very quickly because of the high quality work and attention to detail we bring to every project! Gino's background in web design and development allowed him to blend 2 of his passions into one design studio the concentrates on both video and web simultaneously.
In the area of video and motion graphics, our clips have been featured in the Tribeca Film Festival Clips Competition sponsored by American Express. We've created commercial spots for the most celebrated local restaurants and businesses. We were a pioneer in establishing the format currently being embraced by Turn Here.com, who has also acquired some of our work. And one of our most recent features is being syndicated to over 50 Cigar Retailers across the United States. In the area of film, editing, motion graphics and web design, we pack more punch than just about anybody around.
In the area of web design, we approach every project using current design principles and our websites are lean, mean, and search engines love our code. We design using web standards, and that means your site will look and act the same way in many different browsers on any OS. Philosophy and Style
- No two projects are exactly alike, and we approach everything we do with that philosophy.
- We do not use freelancers. Our staff is trained to work together, which is totally different than throwing a bunch of strangers together and hoping for good results. In most cases, you'll be getting Gino to personally do the work.
- Gino's cinematic style is used to elegantly create the film of your dreams on DVD & VHS. You'll watch your family heirloom on DVD again and again!
Equipment
- Sony 3-Chip Cameras. We shoot most of our films in 16:9 widescreen in HDV format.
- Apple Final Cut Studio and Adobe After Effects for digital editing and compositing.
- Wireless microphones for pristine audio on the day of your event!
- Pixeldust Films is one of the few film studios in the consumer videography market that color corrects every single one of our films, giving it a cinematic look that is head-and-shoulders above our competitors.
- Pixeldust Films is a highly advanced effects and compositing studio, and can do things with your wedding video and photos that others simply don't know how to do.

We focus our efforts on small and medium-sized projects, and deliver meaningful results on tight deadlines. We don't own cheap cameras and don't use consumer editing software. We use only the top producers, film makers, editors and motion graphics professionals in the region.
